How we work
What sets us apart is our focus on practical results rather than jargon. Cambridge is home to a remarkable mix of research institutions, tech start-ups, product designers and hobbyists, and we work with all of them. We understand that a PhD student needs a precise component printed overnight just as much as a product company needs a polished presentation model by Friday. We tailor the process to your timeline and budget.
When you send us a file or describe your project, we review the geometry, confirm tolerances and check that the design suits FDM printing in PETG before we start. We work with FDM technology and can advise on whether it suits your application - a structural bracket needs different settings than a detailed architectural model. If the requirements fall outside what PETG can offer, we will let you know so you can explore other options. Once printed, parts are checked, cleaned and finished before they leave us.
We use quality PETG filament and calibrate our machines regularly to keep dimensional accuracy consistent. The longevity of a printed part depends heavily on material choice and how it will be used - we give honest advice on this upfront so there are no surprises. If something does not meet the agreed specification, we will reprint it.

Wow, just received a bread board made by 3dgure. This is a surprise 30th wedding anniversary gift for my wife and the result is absolutely brilliant. The detail is far better than I imagined it would be, I can actually tell who the subjects are on the board. Placed an order and it was done within 3 days and the price is spot on too. I have attached photos of the items which do not do them justice, my photography skills are not perfect, the finished items look far better in real life.
